Glasgow on Ice!

Glasgow's winterfest starts this weekend, and the ice skating was so much fun last year. If you've got children under 4 years old, they have special toddler sessions where they have dancing snowmen and little penguin trolley-things that they can push around, and sledges too. Pity they don't have the trolleys for the parents who have never skated before in their lives!

Oily Cart Theatre for Under Fives

If you are in the London Area and have small children, the christmas show by Oily Cart theatre company looks wonderful! It's all about baking, the children get to 'smell the baking dough, feel the flour and see the sugar and salt sparkle' and at the end they take away a freshly baked bun. My two little girls and I were amazed and enchanted by two of their previous shows - I'm just sad that they won't be performing this show in Scotland...
